This book, No Personal Questions, shares the fun and not so fun online English language teaching experiences of Dr. Sam Cooper with his many international students around the world. It describes how he got started teaching online with entertaining memories and personal insights about what he has learned from his “virtual” cross-cultural English language lessons. He also includes stories about his travels to meet his students in person and how he has started his own growing and successful online tutoring business.
Dr. Sam is a retired principal and curriculum director with over thirty years of teaching English in the US and overseas. He continues to teach, tutor, and coach international students online from his home outside of Dallas, Texas. He is an award-winning educator and holds several degrees in education and TESOL (Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages). He is known for his unique teaching style and his friendly, patient, and humorous interaction with students of all ages and grade levels from pre-K to postgraduate studies.
